Digestive Nutrition
Hello, I’m Jane Reagan, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to support you on your journey of professional development as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
Supervision is essential for the professional growth of Registered Dietitians. For new dietitians, it will enhance your confidence, offer professional support, accelerate your clinical development, and deepen your knowledge in areas you're passionate about.
My supervision sessions provide valuable guidance, mentorship, and the chance to learn from my 15+ years of experience in the eating disorder field. Since I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, IAEDP-Approved Supervisor (CEDS-C), all of our supervision sessions count towards earning the required hours for your Certified Eating Disorders Specialist credential.
My approach to nutrition therapy, centers around medical nutrition therapy (MNT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness therapies and family-based therapy (FBT) and health at every size (HAES).
In our ONE-on-ONE supervision sessions, we’ll cover topics such as:
- Facilitating compassionate and empathetic discussions on eating disorders, while creating a supportive space to address professional concerns and anxieties
- Applying evidence-based guidelines in nutrition therapy for eating disorders, disordered eating, GI issues, nutrition labs, and Intuitive Eating principles
- Offering expert consultation on complex client cases, across all levels of care, to ensure comprehensive support and effective treatment strategies
- Enhancing counseling skills and interventions, tailored specifically to the unique needs and challenges of each client
- Providing guidance to help you confidently diagnose, conceptualize, and treat eating disorders of all kinds with greater expertise and assurance
